Still alive?

Seeing this game still listed is reassuring, but... should we expect it to be finished or worked on at all?
Difficult to say right now. I like Tentacle Ball and it was a joy to work on. Every now and then I pull it up and my heart races hearing the music and watching the intro. I played hundreds of hours of Princess Maker 2 back in the day, and making my own Princess Maker game was a lot of fun.
Let me say that the lack of popularity comes from presenting wrong genre to the wrong audience. Not the game quality.ArcDragon wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 5:15 am Difficult to say right now. But Tentacle Ball wasn't very well received. Not very many people played, and it didn't make much of a splash. For context, over the past nine weeks Tower of Triumph has received nearly four times as thread views on the various sites talking about the game as Tentacle Ball has in the past year. So it makes a lot of sense to focus my attention where the players are.
I'd like to pick it up again someday, and in fact I was talking to one of my playtesters fairly recently about it. I think if it's to happen, there would have to be a rebuild of the game. It would have to be made with graphics from the start rather than having them stapled on after the fact. It would have to be more cute and more sexy and more silly, and with a lot more dialogue.
All things that I imagine you'd love to see. Me too. But...it just can't happen right now, because it would be a six month undertaking to rebuild the game for a relaunch. And right now Tower of Triumph has my focus.
